Hi Friends!

Iโ€™m so sad but I ended up having to come home a bit early from the missions trip. With the concussion I spent 13 days taking it easy at the base we were staying at then I was hit with stomach pain. After some testing, I felt the pull to go home and follow up with doctors here in the States. So, on Wednesday, I flew home early. Now I am processing, resting, and reflecting on all of the amazing ways God moved throughout the past month!

During those quiet days on the base (our teams home for the month), I had the chance to pray with other girls who were also sick or hurting which is something I might not have had the opportunity to do if I was busy out on the field everyday.ย  It felt like a reminder that ministry doesnโ€™t stop just because your plans change. Sometimes it just looks different.

And there was something really beautiful about being able to sit with someone, pray over them, and just be present, even if I couldnโ€™t do much else.

Coming home early wasnโ€™t part of my plan, but for now, Iโ€™m resting in the fact that He never wastes anything. Looking back, I can see God gently healing past traumas. Being sick overseas, returning home unexpectedly, recovering again in my momโ€™s house. But this time, I know Iโ€™m not walking through it alone. Iโ€™m leaning on the one whoโ€™s always gotten me through: Jesus.

The way that He is healing hurt inside me in this powerful way is incredible to see. Only He knew that I needed this. Thank God!

โ€œMy grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.โ€

โ€” 2 Corinthians 12:9

I want to say thank you so much for everyone who has supported me along the way through encouragement, prayers, and donations. Without you this wouldnโ€™t have happened, and I am forever grateful for this experience and what I have given and the fullness I received from serving in Guatemala.

So blessed, So grateful ๐Ÿ™Œ
